Tiraspol, January 30. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the ambassador of Ukraine in Moldova. The ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova Ivan Gnatishin, the First Secretary of the Ukrainian Embassy in RM Yevgeny Tkachuk and the Adviser of the Embassy for Political Affairs Paun Rogovey were in the Ukrainian delegation to Pridnestrovie, specifies the Presidential Press Office.
Greeting the Ukrainian guests, the Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded that Pridnestrovie and Ukraine had longstanding relations, and expressed hope for continuation of interstate cooperation.
«There are a number of issues needing our joint solution. These are present-day and future issues," Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.
In turn, the Ukrainian ambassador emphasized that he counted on a business subject conversation not only on the Moldo-Pridnestrovian settlement, but also on the other aspects.
«We have always been consistent and today we support the small steps tactics in the issues concerning the Moldo-Pridnestrovian settlement. Ukraine welcomes this approach. Besides, we are ready to make own offers," Ivan Gnatishin noted.
