Supreme Council structure approved

Tiraspol, 23 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The first plenary session has approved the structure of the 6th Supreme Council. The parliament includes eight committees and three permanent commissions.

The committee on economic policy, budget and finance is headed by Alexnder Martynov.

The chairman of the entrepreneurship and industry committee is Viktor Guzun.

The committee on social policy, healthcare, labour, family and childhood is presided by Sergey Cheban.

Efimiy Koval will head the committee on agriculture, transportation, construction, natural resources and ecology.

The committee on legislation, defence, national security, peacekeeping affairs, law enforcement agencies, civil liberties protection is headed by Galina Antyufeyeva.

The chairman of the committee on local government, local authorities and housing and public utilities is Oleg Vasilaty.

The chairman of the committee on public organisations, sports, information and youth policy is Igor Buga.

The committee on education, science and culture is headed by Mikhail Burla, who presided over the previous Supreme Council.

The chairman of the committee on mandates, regulations and deputy's ethics, Sergey Dyachenko has retained this post.

The chairwoman of the foreign policy and international contacts commission is Galina Antyfeyeva.

Alexander Korshunov has retained the post of chairman of the Supreme Council counting board.
