On 23 September the order «On procedure of the declaration and control of the customs value of goods imported to Pridnestrovie», the press office of the State Customs Committee (SCC) recalls.
In this regard, a workshop was held with the involvement of SCC senior specialists and SCC office inspectors. They discussed practical aspects of applying the procedure for the declaration and control of the customs value of import goods.
The new legal act has not only accumulated and itemised the existing norms, but also provides for some innovations.
For example, the list of documents and information provided by the customs applicant to confirm the declared customs value has been clarified for each of the six methods of determining this value. In addition, the procedure for declaring the customs value of import motor cars has been regulated, and the procedure for the customs valuation of goods has been determined.
The document also stipulates for the terms of applying discounts on the price of import goods and specifies the signs of the inaccuracy of the declared information about the customs value of goods.
