Rybnitsa's cement plant signed an agreement with Germany's Christian Pfeiffer company on the supply of 5th generation equipment. The clinker burning shop will be equipped with new gas burners. The grinding shop will also be totally re-equipped and transferred to closed cycle of production
According to the director of the cement plant, Vitaliy Kalin, the total amount of purchases will make €2 million.
«This is a big package of investments that are carried out by the shareholders in compliance with the agreement on governmental support, signed in April 2015 with Pridnestrovie's government. This is the first stage of the implementation of the programme aimed at modernising and reconstructing the plant in the midterm," he said to journalists.
According to the head of Christian Pfeiffer, the new equipment will improve the quality of final products, enhance output and cut power inputs.
The plant's management has announced the erection of the German equipment will start within the next few days.
