In a festive atmosphere the young people were presented with academy matriculation certificates. This document will enable them to use quotas allocated for Pridnestrovie's State Customs Committee (SCC) in 2015 and get specific education in the sphere of customs affairs.
It is recalled that, due to the long-term cooperation between the SCC and RCA, today the 44 customs officers from Pridnestrovie are full-time students at the academy and its branches. Now, 20 more school-leavers from different cities and districts of the republic will join them at V. Bobkov Saint Petersbourg branch of RCA.
During a meeting at the customs committee, they were addressed by the first deputy chairman of the SCC, Svetlana Klimenkova, who told them about the professional training cooperation between the committee and Russia's leading university and the tasks Pridnestrovie's customs officers are facing today.
The parents of the future students also took part in the meeting, the SCC press service reports. They were especially interested in organisational issues relating to the children's education and housing.
Following the meeting, the guests looked round the museum of Pridnestrovie's customs service.
