As part of socio-economic programme of the Dniester-Prut Centre of the RISS, Pridnestrovie's Education Ministry initiated in May 2015 the contest «Alexander Suvorov. The Science of Victory», dedicated to the commander's anniversary.
The contest was held among schoolchildren aged 10−12, the ministry's press service reports. Following its results, ten children from Pridnestrovie have got the opportunity to take part in the 15th School of Friendship in Serbia.
In compliance with the requirements of the receiving party, the delegation of children should be accompanied by a doctor and a pedagogue.
Ahead of the trip to Serbia, the Education Ministry held parents' meeting.
«The participation of our kids in this event will be another important step aimed at developing and strengthening ties among rising generations of Russia, Serbia and Pridnestrovie," said the deputy education minister, Svetlana Turchak.
