Dmitry Rogozin urges the Duma to simplify reception of Russian citizenship for Pridnestrovie's residents

The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin plans to address to the State Duma in order to simplify the procedure of Russian citizenship reception for the Pridnestrovie's residents who were born after 1991. He told about it during the Government Hour in the Duma, TASS reports.

«I hope, very soon, we will address to the State Duma with a question, what necessary changes in citizenship of the Pridnestrovie's residents born after 1991 are needed to receive the Russian citizenship," the Deputy Pridme Minister told.

He explained that today's lack of such statutory provision in the Russian legislation pushes them to receive Moldovan, Romanian or Bulgarian citizenship which can be easily provided to them.

«We think that this situation is wrong," Rogozin concluded.
