New Year's Address by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky

Dear Pridnestrovians!

2025, the year of trials and achievements, excitement and hopes, worries and joys, is coming to an end. What do we see when we look back? We see peace. Thank God, the skies over Pridnestrovie are peaceful. The Republic remains an island of security, peace, consolidation, and creativity.

The outgoing year was declared the Year of the Pridnestrovian People. A significant number of thematic events, educational discussions, and folk art festivals were held. Why? To better understand and truly appreciate the deep core of our society, to strengthen, preserve, and develop the "Pridnestrovian people" community. Much has been accomplished, but we must not stop. Creation isn't just about building or producing material goods; it's, first and foremost, about spirituality, about building strong foundations for family, society, and the state. It's about connecting generations, about loyalty to the past, respect for the present, and confidence in the future.

The year is ending, but the work continues. We will, as before, protect peace in our land, ensure law and order, security, and respect for the rights and freedoms of citizens in the coming year. We will fulfill our social obligations, raise and educate children, care for the health of Pridnestrovians, grow grain, and develop technology. Of course, we will continue to study the history, culture, and traditions of the multinational Pridnestrovian people, strengthening and developing them.

Each of us has our own purpose, our own duty, our own labor feat, which we accomplish daily for the common good. I thank each of us for our work, for our compassion, for not giving up in the face of difficulties, but for overcoming them and moving forward. Special words of gratitude to those who are at work right now, at this festive moment. I believe you are welcome at home, where an atmosphere of warmth and comfort reigns. If you happen to find yourself alone at this moment, remember that you are not alone; you are part of the large and friendly family of the Pridnestrovian people. I ask everyone: do not skimp on your attention, do not hesitate to share your care and help, and do not close your doors and hearts to those in need.

Dear Pridnestrovians!

May the New Year 2026 be filled with bright emotions, new acquaintances, and well-deserved successes. May each of you be rewarded for your kindness and hard work with peace and prosperity, the good health of your loved ones, and the happy laughter of your children. May your plans be realized and new dreams be born.

Happy New Year!
