The President was informed by heads of towns and districts of the republic about the state of affairs on the ground and work plans for the week and longer term. Preparation for holding ceremonial assemblies in secondary education institutions to mark the end of the school year was among the general issues discussed during the video conference. The last bells will ring on Saturday, the 24th of May in most schools. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that this is a significant event for schoolchildren, especially graduates, and focused on high-quality preparation of events while maintaining the classical traditions of their holding.
The President said that it is necessary to provide educational institutions with solid fuel heat supply equipment during the summer vacation period. The installation of alternative heat sources in healthcare and social institutions cannot be postponed, the PMR President said. The PMR Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg informed the President that alternative boiler houses are already being equipped in the Republican clinical hospital, hospitals of Rybnitsa and Bendery. As for schools, Kamenka district has been the most active in the program. There is a request for the purchase of solid fuel boilers from Grigoriopol educational institutions.
The President asked about the execution of his instructions related to the formation of the land cadastre. Not all districts are actively involved in this work, according to the PMR President. The Government will prepare a detailed report for the next video conference.
Another sphere that requires monitoring and analysis is the introduction of an automatic fare payment system in public transport. The corresponding equipment, (validators) is installed in trolleybuses and minibuses. In order to fully assess the effectiveness of the automatic fare payment system, time and constant monitoring are needed, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted. A special meeting scheduled for the afternoon will be devoted to this issue.
The topic of import substitution, including in the construction industry, was discussed today. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the requirement to use local materials and domestically produced products when fulfilling state and municipal orders if any.
