The Tiraspol Suvorov Military College celebrates its fifth anniversary graduation. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived to congratulate the personnel. The President initiated the creation of an educational institution at one time, subordinate not only to the Ministry of Education, but also to the PMR Ministry of Defense. No one had any doubts about which city in Pridnestrovie a school bearing the name of the great commander Suvorov would be opened. Children from all over the republic study at Tiraspol Suvorov Military College (Tiraspol residents – 76, residents of Slobodzeya district – 56, Grigoriopol district – 24, Rybnitsa district – 22, Kamenka and Dubossary district – 15 people each, residents of Bendery – 26, residents of Dnestrovsk – 2), as well as from Gagauzia and Russia.
Three dozen pupils of Suvorov Military College are completing their educational process within the walls of the military school today. One graduate is the owner of a certificate with honors and a medal of the highest standard, another graduated from Tiraspol Suvorov Military College with a silver medal.
The peculiarity of the 2024 graduation is that the graduates who have completed a full seven-year course of study receive documents on completion of Tiraspol Suvorov Military College for the first time. These are those who entered the year of opening of the educational institution in 2017 as first year students (5th grade of the general education system). The PMR President spoke about this in his welcoming and congratulatory speech. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to how the young people who chose to grow up in Suvorov uniform have matured in seven years. The President expressed confidence that a rich life awaits young people, emphasizing that this is the most important and difficult exam. The Commander-in-Chief thanked the officers, teaching staff and parents of pupils of Suvorov Military College.
Words of gratitude were addressed to Vadim Krasnoselsky today. The head of the board of trustees of Tiraspol Suvorov Military College, the First President of the PMR, Igor Smirnov, emphasized the importance of the decision taken by the President to create a military school. Igor Smirnov recalled that the educational institution has already graduated 137 worthy young men. The Pridnestrovian Suvorov movement is represented by 242 people at present. Newcomers are replacing graduates. Schoolchildren who wish to become part of the Suvorov movement undergo entrance examinations – exams in their native and foreign languages, mathematics and physical education. Exams were taken on different days in different cities and regions of the republic for the convenience of applicants. This year's competition is two persons per place.
