The massive participation of Pridnestrovians and guests of the republic in the events dedicated to Children’s Day was noted in the course of video conference held by the President with the public and administrative authorities. The heads of state administrations noted the unprecedented activity of citizens. Much more sites than before were used, and all of them were in demand this year. Festive marathons were held by municipal services not only in Catherine Park, but also in Aviator Square, as well as on sites near schools No. 5 and No. 18 in Tiraspol. Many local entertainment programs took place in the courtyards of residential buildings and institutions. Over 10 thousand people visited Park of Alexander Nevsky in Bendery on Saturday, said Roman Ivanchenko. The President noted the diversity of the events and the creative approach of the organizers, between whom there is a certain competition, which benefits those for whom cultural events are being prepared, of course.
The country's leader was informed that some events dedicated to Children's Day were postponed for a week so that the density of holiday programs would not detract from their significance. For example, the grand opening of the reconstructed summer cinema will be held next weekend in Slobodzeya. New playgrounds will be festively opened in June at schools No. 11 and No. 15, as well as at the 1st gymnasium in Bendery.

The President recalled the current principle of priority for completing construction and repairs. As for new participants in the state program, they will be selected based on applications received from the heads of cities and districts. Vadim Krasnoselsky visits many construction and repair sites personally. The President plans to visit Bendery for an inspection on Tuesday. Tomorrow's work schedule also includes a large meeting with heads of state administrations at the Presidential Administration site.
The head of Kamenka spoke about the annual Kamerton festival opening that took place last week. The creative summer was kicked off by young students from the art school of Kamenka this year. A medical outpatient clinic in the village of Korotnoye will soon be put into operation in Slobodzeya district. Readiness for the summer healthcare season was discussed among the topics today. The children are welcome to visit “Spartak”, “Victoria”, “Dniester Dawns” and the Dubossary camp during the holiday period. Almost a third is fully paid for by the state out of the more than three and a half thousand trips. They are intended for orphans, children of defenders of Pridnestrovie and young members of large families. Another 110 disabled children will undergo a health improvement course at the Solnechny sanatorium in the summer. The stay of children and accompanying adults there will be paid from the republican budget.
The number of leisure areas for children at educational and other institutions is growing. Vadim Krasnoselsky requested detailed information about the institutions involved and the coverage of the child population of the republic.
