The PMR President took part in the funeral event held at the Borisov cemetery in Bendery. Pridnestrovians brought flowers to the gravestones and the monument to the defenders of Bendery, installed on the Alley of Heroes today, on the day of remembrance of the victims of Moldovan aggression, whose lives were cut short as a result of a treacherous armed attack by Moldovan members of a special police detachment. The dead were called by name. The litiya for the murdered was served by Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa.
Fresh flowers as a symbol of unfading memory and gratitude were laid by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky on behalf of the entire Pridnestrovian people. The basket was at the pedestal of the monument, a scattering of carnations on each grave of the Alley of Heroes.
