A nationwide voluntary Saturday work was held in Pridnestrovie on behalf of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Residents of towns and districts cleaned up their yards and improved important social facilities and recreational areas. Particular attention was paid to landscaping: flower beds and lawns were improved, shrubs and trees were planted. Work was carried out in small squares and large parks.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with his wife took part in planting trees in the Bendery fortress. The Krasnoselsky couple planted apple trees. Svetlana Krasnoselskaya said that their family could be considered experienced gardeners. They have been planting fruit trees on their land plot for more than 20 years. They also love coniferous trees.
It is planned to plant today thousands of rose bushes and about 12 thousand deciduous and coniferous trees in the republic.
