Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the arboretum in the course of inspection tour of Tiraspol. The President was accompanied by the head of the capital's state administration Oleg Dovgopol. He spoke about the development of the infrastructure of the botanical garden. Special attention was paid to the irrigation system, artesian water is supplied for irrigation. Answering a question about the care and preservation of tulip meadows, the head of the city noted that the bulbs will be dug up and prepared for planting in the new season. Not only the area cleared and renovated with lavender and tulips is being improved, but also the rose garden. Paths are being laid in this sector. The so-called “wedding paths” are covered with paving slabs. The total paving area is about 13-14 thousand square meters. 9700 square meters will be paved this year, the rest in 2024. Some of the paths will be covered with crushed stone. This will preserve the natural atmosphere of the park, but at the same time add comfort to walking.
The presidential visited the city stadium with inspection today. Construction work is in full swing here. The foundation for the playing fields is being prepared. Delivery of specialized rubberized coating is expected within the next two weeks. Contractors say that a new generation of material is used for their manufacture – safe and abrasion resistant. A large amount of work already carried out is related to the replacement of communication networks. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about putting in order not only the sports infrastructure, but the territory adjacent to the stadium. They will pay attention to it. There are plans to pave sidewalks and paths with tiles. The fence and public transport stop will also be reconstructed, but next year.
Construction work does not stop in the museum quarter either. Inspecting the main building of the future Pridnestrovian State Museum, Vadim Krasnoselsky asked questions regarding the placement of future exhibitions. This aspect is important to take into account already at the construction stage, the PMR President emphasized. He recalled that the block dedicated to the Great Patriotic War should be ready to receive visitors on May 9, 2025. The opening of the facility will become a significant component of the program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The President recommended not to delay the start of work on the thematic diorama. The creation of this modern museum element – design development and fragmentary production – will take time. The content and options for placing the exhibition of equipment and small arms was discussed. Facade work in the museum quarter should be carried out this year, internal work will begin next year. The President reminded that the fence should not be solid. The courtyard is a significant part of the museum space, which should be open, attracting the attention of passers-by. The President gave some recommendations and a number of current instructions.
