The republic continues to implement the presidential program for the construction of affordable housing. The capital's progress in this direction was reported to the President today. The meeting was of an off-site nature. He was taken to a construction site in Mira Street. A cottage community is being built here. 11 three-story constructions were built. All engineering networks have been connected. There are a total of 132 apartments in the complex – two- and three-room apartments. Each of them has loggias – three and four, respectively. The participants of the cooperative "South 3" are public sector workers. About fifty families of Pridnestrovian militia officers, three dozen doctors, employees of the Ministry of Education and other government agencies will move into these houses.
As for the further implementation of the housing program, there are promising plans, said the head of the Tiraspol administration Oleg Dovgopol. Some of them are already in work. There will be a 6-story residential building: two entrances, 48 apartments in Tekstilshchikov Street, on the basis of a long-term construction project, which was once designed as a 10-story building. They are building up the two floors that are missing in the updated design. The cooperative has already been created - the housing construction cooperative "April".
There is another cooperative housing project from the “South” series. Members of the "South 4" cooperative will live in a high-rise building located in the area of the Frunze state farm. The house is from the category of unfinished buildings of previous years. There will be 32 two-room apartments according to the project.
An idle area in the central part of Tiraspol - an abandoned site of the former plant named after Pavel Tkachenko was mentioned in the course of plans for more distant future discussion.
