The PMR President held a meeting on small business issues

A number of entrepreneurs from the 1st of January next year will switch from a patent to a simplified tax system, where the tax rate will be 3% of income. The relevant law has already entered into force. Officials in cities and regions of the republic held meetings with business representatives. Proposals of entrepreneurs were discussed at the presidential executive office today.

Deputy Chairman of the Government Stanislav Kasap said that the authorities held meetings to eliminate the identified shortcomings. A number of decisions have already been made and are in effect, some have been included in legislative initiatives and will be considered by the Supreme Council.

The President noted that the main goal of changes in the tax system is to create equal conditions for all entrepreneurs. The PMR President recalled that the introduced 3% tax on income is much less in comparison with other states.

Specific figures were given in the course of the meeting: 220 entrepreneurs, who are switching from a patent to a simplified tax system, applied to the tax authorities of Pridnestrovie over the past week. More than 800 business representatives have completed the transition since the entry into force of the relevant law.
