Well-maintained areas for physical education and sports, active leisure and healthy pastime are not an excess, but a necessity, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized repeatedly. Director of the school Zhanna Diatko told the President today that there is a need for infrastructure for the work of sports sections in addition to physical education lessons. The PMR President visited the future sports, but for now the construction site with an inspection. He looked at how zoning was carried out, asked about location. The project provides for a mini-football field, basketball and volleyball courts, treadmills, a jumping pit, a workout zone, said the Head of the Tiraspol state administration Oleg Dovgopol, noting that a similar project of the sports sector at school number 18 was taken as a basis. Concreting of areas requiring this is now being carried out. The work as a whole can be physically completed by September. The issue is financial capacity. Three million rubles have been allocated so far. The project as a whole needs twice as much. They look for sources of additional funding. Deputies are joining. The construction of a sports and leisure area in this microdistrict is a request of local residents, said parliamentarian Vadim Levitsky. The participants of the field meeting spoke about the demand for the facility, noting that in addition to physical culture, games and training areas, infrastructure for recreation is needed - benches, gazebos, footpaths, a children's playground. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the state plans to continue working in this direction. There is a demand from society - there will be sports grounds, the PMR President assured.
