The infrastructure of the departments of pathological anatomy and forensic medical examination has long needed to be updated. Two joint buildings built on the territory of the Republican Clinical Hospital were put into operation at the end of last year. The task was to equip them with modern specialized equipment and furniture corresponding to the profile of institutions. The PMR President visited the facility with an inspection today. The President was accompanied by the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Republican Clinical Hospital during the working visit.
The PMR President was told that the move from the old building to the new complex was completed at the beginning of this week. The purchased equipment is assembled and installed. Refrigerators, specialized tables, chairs were purchased in sufficient quantities. The laboratory is functioning. The departments of pathological anatomy and forensic medical examination are interconnected, and the proximity of the buildings allows employees – specialists from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Internal Affairs – to perform work more quickly, the President was told. Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected the working rooms of experts, emphasizing that the conditions in which specialists work directly affect the quality of work. He asked about the functioning of the ventilation system, asked in what else is needed to organize the full-fledged work of institutions, talked to employees.
