People with special needs of life receive increased attention in present-day Pridnestrovie. The PMR President, the leadership of state authorities and administration, the public make every effort to socialize citizens with special needs, to provide them with physical, material and moral support. The existing ones are being improved and new specialized institutions are being created, whose task is not to isolate, but to help adapt. More than 70 million rubles have been allocated from the state budget for these purposes over the past four years. They equip rehabilitation, health-improving, sports, educational, leisure centers for adults and children with special needs in different towns of the republic. One of the largest was built in Dubossary. For many years this socially significant project was, as it seemed, a pipe dream, but today it is a reality. The object was one of the first to get into the program of the Capital Investment Fund. The country's leadership had no doubts about its inclusion in the program, despite the fact that everyone understood that the project would be costly. In 2018, work began. An area of 1.5 thousand squares was allocated for the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs of Life. The multifunctional complex was commissioned in September 2020. It has no analogues either in the republic or in neighboring states. Development continues. The second pool, an open one was built at the request of the team. This year, the pupils are unlikely to carry out water procedures in the fresh air, but they are making plans for the next summer seasons. It's not just about children's leisure time. The pool is necessary for physical education, specialized gymnastics on the water, the President was told today. Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the institution during his visit to Dubossary. The staff and pupils of the center organized a holiday by the pool - they recited poetry, sang, danced, launched symbolic paper "ships of hope". Wooden models of ships were presented as gratitude to the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Chairman of the PMR Government Alexander Martynov.
The head of the institution Svetlana Zavtur said that an invitation came from the University of Rostov-on-Don: they offer to make a report on the Dubossary rehabilitation center at the site of Russian university. The director of the center thanked the country's leadership and, in particular, Vadim Krasnoselsky for the attention shown to people in need of a special approach. The President for his part thanked Svetlana Zavtur and, through her, all employees of the institution and the parents of the pupils for their contribution to the common cause, stressing that the main thing is to put heart and soul into what you are doing.
Delegation led by the President passed an inspection of the premises of the center. He asked why the indoor pool was empty. They replied that in order to save money. Keeping the bowl constantly filled and constantly maintaining the required temperature regime of water is too expensive for the social institution. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the infrastructure was created for active use, and not to state the fact of its existence. Instructed to immediately fill the bowl with water and conduct classes on an ongoing basis. The Government has been instructed to provide additional funding for the costs of constant water heating.
