COVID statistics

2442 patients infected with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals of the republic according to information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. 36 of them are in serious condition in intensive care units, four are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 173 people are waiting in stationary conditions for the results of laboratory study of the biomaterial. The workload of specialized hospitals is 83%. 2716 biomaterials were sent for PCR research in the four days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters. Suspicion of infection was laboratory confirmed in 1119 cases. During the same time, 18 people died, 516 patients were discharged from covid hospitals. The total number of tests carried out since the beginning of the pandemic is 81044. Totally, 12276 cases of coronavirus disease have been registered in Pridnestrovie. 245 patients died in infectious diseases hospitals (mortality 2%). 8269 recovered (67% of the cases) were discharged. 1758 residents of the republic are in controlled self-isolation.
