Tiraspol, 9 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Tsurkan held the first meeting of a working group on the development of a 2019 - 2026 PMR development programme, the government's press service reports.
The group includes ministers, MPs, businessmen, members of the Public Chamber and the Pridnestrovian People's Forum.
At one of the government meetings, the president set an important task before government members - to draw up a program of the country's development for the next eight years. It should comprise three directions - political stability, economic self-sufficiency, social justice.
The participants discussed the structure of the program, which had been drafted by the government in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development. Thus, the document will consist of five sections: "Analysis of the current situation, global trends, risks and challenges", "Target indicators of social and economic development and tools for achieving the goals", "Independent self-sufficient state as a guarantee of a high standard of living for citizens", "Transformation for the sake of development "," Regional policy: Pridnestrovie as the territory of development ".
The participants approved ministries and departments responsible for compiling the relevant sections of the document.
As part of the discussion, the MPs proposed to adopt a law on strategic planning. A similar law, by the way, is in force in the Russian Federation. When developing a new program, the experience of developing similar projects will be taken into consideration. The NGO members expressed the opinion that this project should be presented in the form of the country's development strategy for 2019-2026.
At the end of the meeting, Alexey Tsurkan instructed the ministries and departments to draw up the relevant sections of the document within a month's time in compliance with the approved structure.
