Tiraspol, February 14 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the period from 11 to 13 February, the Croatian city of Karlovac hosted the WAKO Open European Kickboxing Cup. About 1,500 athletes from 29 countries took part in the competition.
Pridnestrovie was represented by the national team of the Pridnestrovian Kickboxing and Muay Thai Federation. According to the Federation, in the weight category up to 60 kilograms (low-kick section U-16), Timur Parfentiev from Rybnitsa took first place. In the weight category up to 51 kilograms (section K-1 U-16), Vladislav Slav from Tiraspol had better results than anybody. Daniil Maksimenko from Rybnitsa won the gold medal in the weight category up to 37 kilograms in the U-12 kick-light section.
Sofia Kostyuk, Egor Kozak, and Artem Slav became the second ones.
