Tiraspol, August 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Foreign trade turnover of Pridnestrovie exceeded $ 1.24 billion in the first seven months of 2021. More than 481 million of them are exported (this is almost 43% more than in January-July last year), while 760.5 million are imported.
These figures are cited by the Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR, referring to the data of the republic`s State Customs Committee.
The authors of the review of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade note that an increasing trend in export operations was observed for almost all seven months, and metallurgical products accounted for more than half of all supplies – this is almost $ 256 million.
Today, the list of top 5 countries - foreign trade partners of Pridnestrovie in export looks like this: Moldova (32.2% of the total supply), Poland (15.3%), Romania (11.7%), Ukraine (9.3%), Russia (9.1%). Flow of exports to Poland increased 5.5 times compared to 2020, which allowed it to take second place. The supplies to the RF also increased.
According to the IHS Markit analytical center, which is also cited by the Ministry of Economic Development, the world economy continued to grow in July, albeit more slowly. At the same time, a high business index was recorded in the euro area, primarily due to acceleration to a 15-year superior limit in the services sector.
