Pridnestrovian swimmers won gold, silver and two bronzes at the Emil Open tournament

European Youth Games for People with Disabilities brought together more than 500 participants

Tiraspol, June 28. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The 10th European Youth Games for People with Disabilities ended last weekend. The competition with the title Emil Open was held from June 23 to June 27 in the Czech city of Brno. More than 500 participants competed in seven disciplines: athletics, swimming, table tennis, boccia, bocce, sport shooting and golf.

Two swimmers from Pridnestrovie took part in the European Youth Games. Trainees of Andrey Mytsykov Alexander Tregubov and Eva Osadchaya took four medals from the tournament.

Alexander Tregubov was the best in the 50m freestyle. At a distance of 100 m in crawl the athlete was the second best. Eva Osadchaya took two bronze medals, becoming the third in the 100 m in freestyle and backstroke.
