Tiraspol, December 7. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The principal points of the State Unitary Enterprise Pridnestrovie-Les business plan were presented to Prime Minister Alexander Martynov.
The document reflects the enterprise audit. Thus, the Head of the State Unitary Enterprise Viktor Dobrov first of all noted the weak control of the organization's management over the structural divisions.
Random inspections showed ground violation: the volume of cleared forests is factually incorrect, documents are not drawn up correctly, etc.
Establishment of an economic security department consisting of several people will help to solve the problem. Their responsibilities will include monitoring the foresters` activities and conducting systemic audits.
Viktor Dobrov identified the need to completely abandon the practice of paying with wood products for wood logging as essential condition. Previously, it was a common practice when employees were paid with wood products for performing sanitary deforestation. Along with this, its cost was calculated with a big discount. The main point of the strategic document for the next year will be transition to cash payment for such services.
Another key point is the need to increase sales of finished products, that is, not timber, but processed products. The company has sawmills and special equipment for wood briquettes production. Options for promoting this type of product in the retail outlets are considered. This is not a one-year task, yet the mid-term plan presupposes such scheme of actions.
Another major challenge for the next few years is to increase the cost of products and bring it to market levels. Prices for the entire range will increase by 30% in 2021. Taking into account the fact that in the future the enterprise should switch to self-sufficiency, this step will have a positive effect on the wages fund volume.
The plan for sanitary deforestation, on the basis of which all calculations are made, has already been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
On behalf of Alexander Martynov, a detailed presentation of the business plan of the Pridnestrovie-Les enterprise for 2021 is to take place in the Government in the second half of December, the press service of the Government reports.
