Tiraspol, February 18. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovian IT Association has given the preliminary results of the contest for the best tourist logo of the republic. It lasted two weeks, there were about 30 works participated in total. According to the organizers, the main goal of this contest is to show that Pridnestrovians can develop their logo by themselves.
The best logo was determined using online voting, which was started in the IT company Dex office. It was there that the authors presented their logos today and outlined the background of its creation.
Alexander Skorolitny was the winner of the competition. He believes that one of the main characteristics of the logo should be its adaptability to various media. On the proposed option, there are images of the Bendery Fortress, the House of Soviets, temple and grapes.
“I want to note that the contents of these symbols may vary. Some of the symbols may be replaced or you can just add new ones. In addition, each of the logo details can be used separately,” Alexander Skorolitny shared.
Irina Kitaeva`s logo took the second place, while Tatiana Panfilova`s logo took the third one. The head of the Dex company, the president of the Pridnestrovian IT association, Ivan Gel, emphasized that those results were preliminary. Everyone can send their logo options to the IT association by e-mail ivan@dex-it.ru. The final results of the contest will be announced on March 22 at an IT conference. The most interesting works will be offered to the PMR Ministry of Economic Development.
Recall: in mid-February, the department announced a contest to create a tourist logo of Pridnestrovie. Everyone can take part in it. The best emblem will be used in all informational, advertising and representative Pridnestrovian products.
