Tiraspol, November 5./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Tiraspol plant Electromash launched the production of large electric motors of the DAZO series. They are designed to drive hammer crushers, smoke pumps and other mechanisms that have large inertial masses, prolonged launches and variable impact load, the press service of the enterprise reported.
The weight of such electric motors (with frame) is from 21 to 27 tons. Today, these are the largest devices produced by NP ZAO Electromash. Previously, the company has produced electric motors weighing up to 18.5 tons.
The speed of the new engines is 600 revolutions per minute. Supply voltage: 3, 6 and 10 kV, power range: 1250, 1600, 2000 and 2500 kW.
In October, the plant manufactured one of these machines. The electric motor has successfully passed the tests. It has already been shipped to Estonia.
«This electric motor will be operated at the thermal power plant as a hammer crusher drive intended for crushing coal into dust for the purpose of its subsequent burning and obtaining the thermal energy necessary to drive the turbine generators of the power plant,» - is said at the official website of Electromash.
