Viktor Guzun: Our conditions for investors have to be better than in the neighboring states

He believes that investor should receive maximum profit with minimum risk

Tiraspol, October 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Viktor Guzun, PMR Supreme Council Chairman of the Committee on the development of entrepreneurship and industry spoke about the effectiveness of existing investment legislation at the PIIEF-2019.

Tax holiday, the immutability of the law guarantee, the right to protect interests in court of any country - Viktor Guzun reminded that Pridnestrovie provided all this benefits and preferences to investors.

“The law works, there is evidence for that. An investor from neighboring Moldova came to Pridnestrovie, who sells his products to Europe. He considered that working with us was more profitable,” the head of the parliamentary committee gave an example.

According to him, the ratio of profit and risk is important for any investor. “Our task is to create such conditions under which the investor would receive maximum profit with minimal risks,” the deputy said.

Viktor Guzun believes that the Pridnestrovian economy and legislation should be as mobile as possible in order to quickly respond to the processes taking place around the republic. This, in particular, is about the opening of relevant types of production. So, today IT outsourcing (call centers) is actively developing in the republic. Due to the tax holiday, serious Russian companies are coming to Pridnestrovie, which has given the economy an additional 600 jobs. Viktor Guzun said that in the future, there might be another 1.5-2 thousand.

“Pridnestrovie can become a kind of hub where investors can produce products and freely send them both to the Russian and European markets,” the head of the committee said, reminded that Pridnestrovie was trading in preferential terms with both the Russian Federation and the European Union.
