Tiraspol, February, 20. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The head of the parliamentary committee on public associations, sports, information and youth policy, Igor Buga, believes that every journalist must be a patriot. According to him, one of the main topics for the State media employees should be the patriotic education of the young generation.

At a meeting of the PMR State Media Service board, Igor Buga gave journalists a number of recommendations on how to fill the content of the state television channel, the specifics of covering the NPO activities funded from abroad, and creating social videos promoting a healthy lifestyle. The deputy assured that members of the relevant parliamentary committee are ready for continuous constructive cooperation with representatives of the media. “Our doors are always open for you” - he said.

Igor Buga also spoke about the work of the Supreme Council regarding the functioning of the media.

“For more than two years of work of the current Supreme Council composition, at the legislative level they managed to resolve a number of existing problems in the functioning of the media. They concerned the issues of registration, the establishment of the media, the procedure for appointing and dismissing the State media editors” - the deputy said.

He paid special attention to the draft legislation on improving salaries for creative employees of the Pridnestrovian television and radio company. “I hope we will be able to comply with our President`s directive, because the issue is really over-ripe” - the parliamentarian said.
