As the Press Service of the Government reports, for Moldavian Steel Works the 2018th year was one of the first in indicators. The enterprise worked with profit, increased the outputs in comparison with 2017. So, 503 thousand tons of steel (we will note that there were no such figures since 2008) were produced, steps on the improvement of the enterprise are taken – the new equipment is installed and also a number of social programs are executed. As the CEO, despite some difficulties told, all planned has been made.

«Last year we executed all planned investment program even with a small plus. We even got new equipment, made ground storage. Everything that was planned, we made», – Sergey Kornev told.

It was possible to offset the difficulties of the second half of 2018 due to fast and professional actions of the management of the plant. Thanks to its rhythmical work of Moldavian Steel Works remained.

«In my opinion, the plant's management deserves positive assessment by results of 2018, as well as in general all labour collective because the success of the plant is the success of all labour collective of the enterprise», – the Prime Minister noded.

Among achievements of the last year there are social projects: a start of a dispensary, sending employees to recreation facilities and also the distribution of 45 apartments among the metallurgists needing improvement of housing conditions under interest-free payment by instalments for up to 10 years.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated care of employees of Moldavian Steel Works, having noted that stability of jobs and the salary is one of the key indicators.

«It is important when the enterprise works and develops, but at the same time also the labour collective is stable, and the welfare of workers grows. These are the key directions on which I asked to pay special attention to plant's management», - Alexander Martynov told.

As for plans for this year, steelworkers are sure that they will cope with objectives.

«The plan is created. The most important that it assumes stability in labour collective and at the enterprise, but not a reduction of volumes of the salaries of those citizens who work at Moldavian Steel Works. Of course, the plant will face these or those problems… But I am sure, both the Board of Directors and labour collective will cope with these problems – the plant will work, the labour collective will be kept and, the most important, everything to improve the living level of workers will be made, and from it the welfare of all Pridnestrovian citizens will grow», – the Head of the Government concluded.
