Tiraspol, 5 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A three-side memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation was signed today at a business forum organised by Business Russia. The memorandum was signed by the Pridnestrovian government, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and non-governmental organisation Business Russia, which unites over 3,000 businessmen in the non-commodity sector of the economy.

According to Alexander Martynov, this agreement will pave the way for the diverse interaction and development of the Pridnestrovian exports.

"This is the beginning of a long way, which became clear during today's dialogue. We are going to interact in various formats, including the provision of methodological assistance in the development of investment legislation. As well as assistance in attracting available credits to the PMR's economy," explained the prime minister.

According to him, a specific mechanism of crediting Pridnestrovian economic agents will be discussed with Business Russia soon.

Martynov noted that in order to increase exports to Russia, Pfidnestrovian manufacturers should intensify their work with Russian regions, conducting a competent marketing policy and fully enabling the production capacity of our enterprises.

"We are told that Business Russia specialists are ready to provide comprehensive assistance in promoting Pridnestrovian goods to the Russian market. Ultimately, it will give a new impetus to the development of Pridnestrovie's economy, create new jobs, increase state revenues, reduce the budget deficit. We expect this cooperation to bring good results in the near future," noted Martynov.

"If we do that by modernising equipment, increasing the working capital of Pridnestrovian enterprises, we'll be able to increase significantly Pridnestrovian exports to Russia," added the prime minister.

He also said that Pridnestrovian entrepreneurs would soon hold consultations at the Agency of Strategic Initiatives Agency (ASI).

"We are taking into account Russia's positive experience in the development of entrepreneurship. Many Russian regions have achieved very good results, including with the ASI's participation. We'll take this example as a basis and continue to move forward together," concluded Martynov.

The Pridnestrovian delegation headed by prime minister Alexander Martynov is on a working visit to Moscow. This is a return visit by representatives of various governmental agencies and enterprises.

In early September, Business Russia representatives visited Tiraspol. An agreement was signed back then to delegate a Pridnestrovian representative to Business Russia and organise a return visit.

Russia will be represented at the forum by the Agency of Strategic Initiatives, Ministry of Economic Development, transnational corporations, Russian Railway, etc. Pridnestrovie, in turn, will be represented by its industrial flagships: KVINT, Tirotex, Kamenka Canning Factory, Intercentre Lux and others.

The programme of the visit includes round tables on the development of business cooperation between our country and Russia, as well as signing a three-sided memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation. The topics to discuss will include issues of industrial and agricultural cooperation.

The work of the forum continues at session meetings on cooperation in the field of agriculture and food processing; cooperation in the field of light industry.
