Tiraspol, April 19. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The first this year's meeting of Pridnestrovian and Moldovan expert (working) crime prevention groups has been held in Chisinau OSCE Mission Office today.
According to the earlier reached agreements within the negotiation process, the sides have returned to the discussion of the problem connected with criminal prosecution against Pridnestrovian and Moldovan officials, the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry's Press Service reports.
The Pridnestrovian delegation headed by the Internal Affairs Minister Ruslan Mova has informed the meeting participants that law enforcement authorities of Pridnestrovie have dropped criminal charges against ten Moldovan officials in order to intensify efforts in the negotiations on settlement of this problem. In this context, the head of Pridnestrovian expert group urged the Moldovan side to take concrete practical steps also in order to decrease tensions in this topical issue.
Within the meeting, the experts have also confirmed the importance of the earliest preparation of an updated arrangement about the principles of interaction between the law enforcement authorities of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova following the design initiatives offered by the sides.
