Tiraspol, 22 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Last week Moscow was the host of the International Conference of Confectioners, which was attended by the biggest manufacturers from the ex-USSR, including Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
Among 40 contenders was the Tiraspol bakery. The plant submitted 13 items to the contest, including popular in Pridnestrovie maize biscuits, brand new meringue and oatmeal cookies. As a result, the bakery has won seven golden and four bronze medals.
It should be noted that Tiraspol's oatmeal cookies have gained the highest award. The quality was achieved through the proper choice of cookies ingredients, the Pridnestrovian confectioners explain.
«Our products are made according to the state standards excluding any non-natural ingredients. Therefore, it is more expensive and reduces the shelf life of such products. At the same time, their taste and healthiness surpass those of their counterparts," said the production manager of the Tiraspol bakery, Yelena Kharitonenko.
The results of the conference give hope to the Pridnestrovian manufacturers that their products will be available and popular in the Russian market.
«The prospects are obvious. We see the republican leadership building relations with Russia. We hope our manufacturers from different industries will also be able to get into the Russian market. On our part, we are doing our best to prepare for it," said the director of the Tiraspol bakery, Pavel Tsyganash.
