Problems of Pridnestrovian exporters discussed in Moscow

In particular, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR have developed with their Russian colleagues a number of measures aimed at the simplification of export procedures

Tiraspol, 26 January. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the framework of a working visit to Russia, the minister of economic development, Sergey Obolonik, took part in a meeting organised by Russia's ministry of industry and trade.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development, the sides discussed the problems of Pridnestrovian exporters related to restrictive measures imposed by Russia, as well as issues of certification and accreditation of certification centres and labs in Russia.

They also developed a number of measures aimed at the simplification of export procedures and determined mechanisms of the work of Pridnestrovian enterprises under Russia's current import substitution policy.

Sergey Obolonik has also held a meeting today with the managing director of the Russian Export Centre on the issue of increasing export operations, taking into account the experience of Russian organisations.

The managing director familiarised the minister with financial and non-financial export incentives applied in Russia.

"This kind of experience will certainly appear in a programme of events [roadmap] to support exports and access of Pridnestrovian manufacturers to foreign markets, which is being elaborated under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR," the ministry's press service reports.
