Tiraspol, 6 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The users of the CONTACT payment system have got the opportunity of topping up the cards of National Payment System Pridnestrovie issued by any Pridnestrovian bank.
The project has been implemented together with the CONTACT system's partner — OAO Eximbank.
NPS Pridnestrovie card can be topped up in CONACT system offices in Russia and in CIS countries, indicating the card number and the name of its holder.
The fee is 1% of the replenishment amount. Transactions are available in Russian roubles, US dollars and euros with the subsequent placing of money to the card's foreign currency account. The maximum transfer amount is ₽175,000 or $/€2,500. Money is placed to the card account within 5 minutes.
The national payment system employing bank cards was established in Pridnestrovie on 1 July 2015 with the aim of increasing the number of non-cash payments and providing additional convenience to customers and sellers. The option of payment by transferring money to the card account is very convenient for the users of the money transfer service: there is no need to visit bank offices and withdraw cash, as well as full identification of the transfer recipient and minimum fraud risks.
Over the past year the National Payment System of the PMR has issued about 30,000 cards. Over 150,000 transactions have been made through this system.
