Tiraspol, 17 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, Tiraspol's branch of Moscow Institute of Entrepreneurship and Law hosted a round table talk to discuss an international youth programme «The Generation of Peace», which is to be launched next year. The programme was approved by the 9th Assembly of the Russian World Foundation, which took place in Suzdal on 3−4 November 2015. The round table talk was attended by representatives of Pridnestrovie's scientific and expert community, clergy of the Tiraspol and Dubossary Diocese and institute students.
It is recalled that the Russian World Foundation was established at the initiative of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, in 2007. Today the Russian World actively cooperates with 300 public organisations in 82 countries. There are Russian World centres in many counties, including Pridnestrovie (in Shevchenko State University). The main goal of the foundation is the popularisation of the Russian language and culture abroad.
Following today's meeting the participants adopted a decision to join the programme «The Generation of Peace». It was also decided to hold a contest of students' works covering youth topics and request the Russian World leadership to open a foundation centre in Tirapol's branch of MIEL.
