Pridnestrovian Newspaper was established through the integration of three newspapers 5 years ago, i.e. Pridnestrovie, Gomin and Adeverul Nistryan. According to the director of the organization Vasily Burlaka, establishment of a common administrative center helped to improve the work of editorial offices and also to cut down the expenses not connected with newspaper issuing.

«All editorial offices were located in separate buildings earlier, so we had to maintain three buildings, three staffs, three account departments and so on," Vasily Burlak notes. This optimization made it possible to include one more mass media, i.e. an online one, in the structure of the Pridnestrovian newspaper. It is Vesti PMR news agency. Another online media resource is an official website of the Pridnestrovian Newspaper where one can study publications of the editions included into establishment.

«The website of the Pridnestovian newspaper exists only several months. It was created in order that both Pridnestrovians and foreigners could read the publications of three republican newspapers in three official languages, i.e. Russian, Moldavian and Ukrainian," — the online portal moderator Galina Stadnikova tells.

According to her, after the website opening, the geography of readers of the Pridnestrovian Newspaper extended considerably. «We already have positive responses from other countries that it is very interesting to read publications in Ukrainian and, of course, in Moldavian language in its original Cyrillic script in Internet,» — the moderator told.

The content for the resource is selected from the most interesting articles; one also can read exclusive materials which weren't published in the print versions of the newspapers. Articles about the life of Pridnestrovie's national communities are arranged into a seperate category. Part of these articles is published in national languages of these communities.

Besides national aspects, journalists of the Pridnestrovian Newspaper also prepare a number of special projects. A project named «The History of the Moldavian Nation» by the professor of history Nikolay Babilunga has an enormous success," the editor-in-chief of Adeverul Nistryan Sergey Sandu noted. The history of Moldova between the first mention of the Moldavian Principality in 1359 and 1989 will be described within this project.

Success of the editorial policy is confirmed by the increasing circulation of the Pridnestrovian Newspaper. E.g., the circulation of the Adeverul Nistryan increased from 700 up to 2000 copies. «Average circulation of Adeverul Nistryan and Gomin amounts to about 2 thousand copies; daily issue of the Pridnestrovie Newspaper is 2500 copies today; the Saturday issue of the Pridnestrovie Newspaper varies from 10 to 15 thousand copies," Vasily Burlak told.
