Following five months 2015 Moldova's manufacturers exported goods to the value of $812.3 million, which is down 16.2% compared to the same period of last year. The volume of Moldova's exports to the CIS countries has fallen by 40.8% (to $182.4 million), the Infomarket news agency quotes Moldova's national bureau of statistics as saying.
The volume of exports to the EU has risen by 0.5%, reaching $524.5 million. To other countries, Moldova has exported goods to the value of $105.4 million, which is down 24.2% compared to the same period in 2014. Moldova's exports to the CIS countries have been reduced from 31.8% to 22.4%, whereas it exports to the EU have increased from 53.8% to 64.6%, and the volume of exports to other countries has decreased from 14.4% to 13%.
