Pridnestrovie's President Yevgeny Shevchuk received Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in RM Farit Mukhametshin

Pridnestrovie's side was also represented by the Pridnestrovie's Deputy Prime Minister on International Cooperation – the Foreign Affairs Minister Nina Shtanski

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current social and economic situation in the republic in the conditions of sanctions imposed by the neighboring countries the Presidential Press Service reports.

Besides that, they talked about the directions of further cooperation in providing of additional support to the citizens of the Russian Federation and compatriots living in Pridnestrovie due to such difficult situation. «We've planned certain directions to mitigate influence of additional economic restrictions," the Pridnestrovie's President emphasized.

At the meeting, special focus was directed to the implementation of the Russian humanitarian project by the Eurasian integration Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization in Pridnestrovie that is the construction of a number of social facilities. «Due to this project, in particular, we've managed to defuse tension in the case of long turns to preschool institutions. It is also very big capital investments to the healthcare field. We haven't had such volume of investments in that sector for the whole period of 25 years," Yevgeny Shevchuk told. «It is positive revolution in the healthcare sector under the auspices of the non-commercial organization and the Russian officials».

«I will be glad if we finish the main facilities within this year, and we will have commissioned them by the beginning of the next year. Perhaps, we will also have some other social projects," Farit Mukhametshin told.

Besides that, the questions concerning the implementation of a common Russia-Pridnestrovie project aimed to provide schools of the republic with textbook sets were discussed at the meeting. «Sufficient number of textbooks is printed for every school, in order that teachers and pupils had study guides of the Russian education standards," the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in RM explained.

During the dialogue, the sides also raised a number of topical issues concerning the consular service.

Following the results of the last meeting, Farit Mukhametshin noted that regular meetings with the Pridnestrovie's President provided opportunities to keep track of events and to evolve common future steps.

Pridnestrovie's President Yevgeny Shevchuk thanked the leadership of the Russian Federation for the support of the Pridnestrovie's people.
