9 Pridnestrovian athletes go to the First European Games

Seven of them have won their permits in the recent Track and Field Moldova Championship

9 Pridnestrovian athletes go to the first European games-2015 in Baku within a national team. Seven of them have won their permits right in the Moldova championship.

The places in the national team were taken by the world-class athlete Natalya Cherkes (5km distance), the master of sports Olesya Smovzhenko (3km distance), the pole-vaulters Irina Tverdokhlebova and Stanislav Georgioglo, the sprinter Oleg Shokin, the hurdler Andrey Daranutsa and Andrey Doyban (relay race).

World-class athletes Andrey Mytsykov and Vladimir Letnikov received their advance permits to Baku. Tiraspol citizens cemented their places in the First European Games by winning the silver medals in the Balkan Championship.
