Oleg Belyakov: Blocking the JCC work, the Moldovan side doesn't give a chance to staff the peacekeeping forces completely

The Pridnestrovie's delegation expresses deep concern due to the lack of decisions on the organizational issue and due to the impossibility of rotation in the divisions and the peacekeeping operation command

The Moldovan side continues blocking the work of the peacekeeping mission's steering committee. Accordingly, as a result, it is impossible to solve an organizational issue and to confirm appointment of military observers from Russia, a military commandant of the high security area, and also an OSCE representative in JCC.

«Due to the fact that the Moldovan side blockades the JCC working intentionally, there is no chance to staff the peacekeeping forces completely. An obvious conclusion offers itself: the purpose of the steps misbalancing the main mechanisms of the peacekeeping operation is to prevent the normal work of the military component also," the JCC cochairman from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov considers.

In addition to that, he noted that the situation in the Security Zone remains stable and controlled by the Joint Peacekeeping Forces.
