As Novosti Pridnestrovya have already reported, the report concerning the work of the Government in 2014 was heard at the Supreme Council's session.
In the conditions of foreign detrimental effect on economy and, as a result, falling of foreign trade turnover volumes and decline in manufacturing output, the state continues to give targeted support to the enterprises.
As it is noted in the report, an agreement on reduction of income tax by half over a period since September 1 till the end of the year was concluded between the Government and the Moldavizolit Plant on October 13 last year. Consequently, the state support of this enterprise amounts to 816 695 Pridnestrovie's roubles.
In that month almost identical agreement was concluded with Softshoes Shoe Factory. However, in this case the income tax didn't decrease by 50%, but by a quarter. But on the other hand, continuance of this tax preference lasts for one year. Privileges for Softshoes will be in force till August 1 of this year. As a result, the state budget will lose 1 mln 69 thousand 909 Pridnestrovie's roubles for all the time of the agreement validity.
Also, the state provided tax privileges for three investment projects implemented in the republic last year, i.e. «The construction of the 31 MW cogeneration plant for electric and thermal energy generation and the following production of electric and thermal energy» of Tirotex-Energo; «The complete breeding and realization cycle of sturgeons and caviar» of the Akvatir Sturgeon Complex; «The casthouse production in the assembly building» of the JSC «Litmash». Total tax remissions for all three companies amounts to 1 mln 308.5 thousand USD.
«Throughout 2014, within its powers and according to the pricing legislation, and also to the law «About Some Additional State Measures Aimed to Stabilize Social and Economic Situation» being in force since January 1, 2014, the Government gave support to a number of the major budget revenue generating enterprises by way of energy tax reduction and by funding the income tax for the organizations. Such example of state support has no parallel throughout the former Soviet Union. A strategic task of the Government was to save industrial sector and to provide the population employment.
We understand that each worker has a family," the Prime Minister noted in her interview to the journalists at the end of the Supreme Council session.
It's important to note, that even in the most difficult economic conditions the state will continue supporting the real economy as much as possible. To be reminded that the Government has decided to reduce natural gas prices for all enterprises of the republic recently. And if for the legal entities of a non-productive sector the gas concession amounted to 10 USD for 1 m3, then for the industrial enterprises it was made in two stages and amounted 40 USD for 1 m3 in general.
During the conversation between the Prime Minister Tatyana Turanskaya and the journalists, there was a question about possible state support to Tirotex being in the most difficult situation due to the loss of foreign markets.
«The Government will continue giving support to the enterprises. A number of matters concerning Tirotex are under consideration," Tatyana Turanskaya noted in this regard.
