Elektromash to participate in reconstruction of Kazakhstan oil and gas facilities

The first supply of electric motors is scheduled for June, 2015.

In April, 2015 the works signed a contract for the supply of ВАОВ-4, ВАО7А explosion-proof motors which are part of electrical equipment used by Kazakhstan's oil and gas complex.

In compliance with the contract, ZAO Elektromash will produce electrical equipment for Kazakhstan's biggest national oil and gas company, working in the area of exploring, extraction, procession and transportation of hydrocarbons. The company represents the government's interests in the gas and oil sector. It owns the largest system of oil-trunk and water pipelines, whose aggregate length is 5,495.25 km and 2,148 km correspondingly.

In 2013 the Republic of Kazakhstan was ranked 12th in the world based on confirmed deposits of oil and gas condensate, 22nd on natural gas deposits and 17th on oil and gas extraction.

Pre-contractual preparation for the supply of ВАО7М electric motors is underway now, says the ZAO Elektromash website.
