The meeting was held in the course of the current economic situation discussion in Pridnestrovie
The Pridnestrovie’s Economic Development Minister Alevtina Slinchenko held a meeting with the Charge d’Affaires a.i. of Her Majesty of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in RM Neil Martin.
The meeting took place within the discussion of the current economic situation in Pridnestrovie and also of the problems permanently existing in the republic’s economy.
During the conversation, Alevtina Slinchenko voiced information on the discrimination measures applied by Moldova against the Pridnestrovie’s economy since 2006. «This talk concerned the restrictions and barriers imposed by Moldova for the Pridnestrovie’s enterprises. There were given the examples and there were voiced the total loss for our economic agents," the Economic Development Minister reported.
Also, there were raised the issues concerning the cooperation between the domestic producers and the Ukrainian partners and the loss of the market in this state. There was also talked about the export difficulties of the Pridnestrovie’s production through Ukraine, the Government’s Press Service reports.
The guests of the republic also took interest in the structure of the Pridnestrovie’s economy, the existing manufacturing and the legislation in the investment and innovation sphere.
