Pridnestrovie's delegation in JCC urged the Moldavian colleagues not to turn the questions of peacemaking into the political issues

Regular session of the peacekeeping commission was held today

As the JCC's cochairman from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov noted in the interview to our reporter, the negotiations were rather difficult within this format.

The Moldova's party still demands to discuss the question concerning the movement in the Security Zone in a peremptory manner. The questions concerning the peacekeeping operation functioning remain undetermined. In particular, the signing of the plan concerning the main activities of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces was rejected by the Moldova's party.

"The peacekeeping forces can't carry out their functional duties due to this issue," Oleg Belyakov told.

"We don't understand it that the main documents regulating the JCC's functioning are violated by the Moldova's party at every turn. The requirements which were evolved for the regular and flawless work of the JCC are ignored by one party today. This points to the fact that someone doesn't want this peacekeeping operation to be successful and doesn't want peace in this land," added the head of the Pridnestrovie's delegation.

He urged the colleagues from Moldova not to turn the questions of peacemaking into the political issues

According to Oleg Belyakov, the situation in the Security Zone remains stable and it is controlled by the Joint Peacekeeping Forces at the present.
