The Pridnestrovie's Deputy Prime Minister on the International Cooperation - the Foreign Affairs Minister Nina Shtanski also participated in the meeting.
During the dialogue, the topical issues concerning the economic and social status of the Pridnestrovie's citizens were discussed. The parties exchanged ideas on the current situation in Pridnestrovie in conditions of new challenges caused also by the situation in the neighboring countries and in the international trade, the President's Press Office reports.
At the meeting, they also talked about a number of cultural and educational projects implemented by the Swedish Embassy in the territory of Pridnestrovie. Evgeny Shevchuk noted the importance of social projects implementation in the republic and expressed his gratitude to the Swedish Embassy for active assistance in this matter. The next Swedish film festival in Pridnestrovie is planned for March.
The participants of the meeting emphasized the openness of the dialogue at the end. According to the parties, the discussion took place in a constructive way.
