Changes are intended to increase traffic safety
The Pridnestrovie’s Internal Affairs Ministry Legal Department’s head Rodion Chebotar explained in his interview to the journalists that the conceptual framework had been significantly elaborated; the new road signs had been registered including informational ones, service signs and those ones concerning the photofixation and the videorecording.
“The winter tires must be used indispensably to ensure the traffic during winter. The fine is also imposed for the studded snow tires in summer,” Rodion Chebotar explained.
The changes also concerned the overtaking regulations at the intersections, the vehicle stop rule before and after the crosswalk.
The Decree comes into effect after 7 days from its official publication.
Notably that the traffic regulations changed for the last time in 2009 fundamentally.
