Water colors of the Pridnestrovian artist are exhibited in St. Petersburg

The “watercolor maestro’s” exhibition will take place in the Big Hall of the Artists Union Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg from January 20 till January 31

At the exhibition, the organizers of the Space and Prospect project presented six works of the associate professor, the head of the Applied and Decorative Arts Department of the Prisnestrovie’s Shevchenko State University’s Rybnitsa branch, the honored Pridnestrovie’s artist, the Pridnestrovie’s Artists Union member Igor Mosiychuk.

The criteria for selection were artists’ active participation in the large exhibitions of Russia and abroad, their educational and teaching activity and their master classes popularizing the watercolor painting, the PSU press service reports.

At the “watercolor maestro’s” exhibition, the spectators will see the works of the artists painting mainly with pure water color in different genres and styles, i.e. classical and modern ones. All variety of the watercolor techniques are presented there - from classical ‘dry’ and ‘wet’ to the difficult complex ones where the painting itself becomes the coauthor of the image.
