In the beginning, the Representative Office’s activity was carried out through the Regional NGO “The Abkhazia-Pridnestrovie Cooperation Center”
On January 18, 2007 the Pridnestrovie’s President signed the Decree on the Pridnestrovie’s Representative Office Establishment in Sukhumi, the Capital of the Abkhazian Republic.
In the beginning, the Representative Office’s activity was carried out through the Regional NGO “The Abkhazia-Pridnestrovie Cooperation Center” registered in the authorized agency of the Republic of Abkhazia.
In 2008 the office opened on the non-governmental organization’s basis which was transformed into the true embassy.
Astamur Kakalya was appointed the first representative of Pridnestrovie in Abkhazia.
From August 31, 2009 until now, the Head of the Pridnestrovie’s Representative Office in the Republic of Abkhazia is Harry Kupalba.
