The President rejected a number of tax bills

The bills concerning the amendments to the Enterprise and Individual Income Tax Laws passed by the Supreme Council on December 24 of the last year were rejected and submitted for the parliament’s reconsideration

The Pridnestrovie’s President considers impossible to enact the drafts mentioned above because they admit extension of the taxable legal entities and individuals list, therefore the implementation of such laws will turn into the state budget shortfalls.

Besides, the passed bills were submitted for consideration in the current legislation violation. Also, the social, economic and other consequences weren’t estimated in the bills. The financial and economic validity wasn't estimated also.

“The Pridnestrovie’s consolidated budget lost 598.0 million rubles of profit from the individual income tax due to the current reliefs in 2013; 496.4 million rubles – in 9 months of 2014. Also, the budget and the Pridnestrovie’s Uniform State Social Insurance Fund lost 3.97 million rubles due to the current enterprise income tax relief in 2013, and 2.77 million rubles – in 9 months 2014. The consequences of these laws implementation would be the tax revenue decrease in the state budget and in the Uniform State Social Insurance Fund budget,” it is emphasized in the law rejection grounds.
